New location for me, same, delicious food. On the way back home from the beach. Didn't know what to expect, as I've never come this early in the morning. I usually go very late. Food was great (besides that soups aren't served till 10 *tear) I had the 1/2 bacon avocado BLT 1/2 strawberry poppyseed salad. OM NOM. Low their food, enjoyed my experience at this location. Staff was very friendly, which is easier said than done at 6:45 am.

Panera is usually predictable. Good food at a fair price, clean and their stores have a Starbucks vibe. I've been coming to this one since it opened, then I moved out of state and just came back for the first time in about three years. They have to be under new management because the first thing I noticed was a strong smell, like dirty mop water, throughout the whole store. The booth and table was sticky, floor was sticky, the employees including the manager on duty all seemed to move at a snail's pace and had a friendly but generally lackadaisical attitude. It's definitely not up to Panera's usual standards. There's just a general lack of pride and cleanliness at this store.

Too bad there aren't two categories here, because the grub is decent but the joint is vile. They haven't swept the floors since the Clinton administration and the table tops remind me of a biology class dissection table. If you can get past the overall filth help yourself.

This is one of the worst Panera breads there is. Unfortunately every time I have been the older lady with glasses that works there is always rude. Once I had to deal with the actual manager because I had placed a large to go order for my company and it was not ready when I got there. He was defensive and made the to go experience a waste of time. They do not spend time preparing the food as they should at this location and you can tell. Something is always missing or not grilled long enough. They are always busy but that is no excuse for the poor hospitality and lack of effort. I hope they open a new one in Daphne so I can avoid this one all together.

This place has lots of parking with a short walk. It's always busy, but pretty fast service. It is a small location, so seating is tight and getting drinks is a wait. If your with adults and children it's fine, but with small children solo, you may want to find another place. Food is panera/cafe style food. I've found it pretty hit and miss. Even though I know it should be fresh and looks fresh, it always tastes a day old. Can't be sure I could tell you if I would ever recognize an employee out of panera. Which I guess is fine if you work there, but not incredible for customer service for an employer. I'd go here again in hopes it that it will taste like a bakery that stayed up all night making my food!

a typical panera bread but what makes it stand out is the attentiveness of the employees, the freshness of the pastries and the clean new look. a couple times my order was wrong though and the manager immediately, unprompted, replaced it with the correct item while comping it. this is how small errors should be handled by any store who respects its customers.

Why can't this place have what a person wants whenever I have gone here to get a breakfast Artichoke Quiche they are ALWAYS out, and they ALWAYS have some excuse why they are out of them! Those things are the bomb and they should keep them on hand ready to serve! They won't even let you order one if it is not ready to serve. They usually say they are making some but NO, you cannot order one now and you cannot wait until they are cooked. I travel all over the USA and stop in all sorts of eateries and THIS place is the ONLY one that has EVER been out of a particular dish I have ordered! Great coffee, great atmosphere, staff are NOT friendly at all or they would try to help me get what I ordered.

I have to write a review of this place, considering that I really liked this place but see several negative reviews here. I've never eaten at Panera Bread before but I love artisan bread so I suspected that this place would be good. We were driving on the highway from Destin back home to NOLA and decided to stop by. The place has an amazing choice of bread, pastries, salads and soup. To my amazement, each item on the menu has the amount of calories next to it. That was really cool. Anyway, we ordered soup in a bread bowl (chicken noodle soup and broccoli cheese soup), Asian sesame chicken hand tossed salad (the item on the menu with lowest amount of calories) and a grilled cheese sandwich (for my child, came with drinkable yogurt). Both soups came with a baguette..yummy. My salad was pretty good -nice and fresh, with dressing on the side so that I could put as much or as little of it in as I wanted. We also got a cinnamon roll, which was very good. The service was excellent - fast and courteous. I liked the nice and warm decor of the place and clean restrooms. It reminds me of La Madeline in NOLA, only bigger and the prices are not as high. The soup in the bread bowl was only $4.95..and free baguette. I would definitely be back and wish I could try every kind of bread that they bake in this place as well as their pastries. They also have sandwiches, hot panini, enterees, bagels, smoothies, coffee..

We stopped in trying to avoid crappy fast food. They were out of baguettes, focacia, and ciabatta breads. Funny the name of the restaurant is panera BREAD. They slapped some slices of wheat bread down after I had to go and ask for bread to go with my soup, which was cold by the way. We had 3 orders and they put my soup on the counter first and waited until all other food was ready before calling us. We waited over 15 minutes for our food and it was 5:30pm and only one order was ahead of us. Not impressed. Not a quick stop off I10. Healthier choices than fast food but not good service or availability of items on the menu. Trash cans were overflowing and staff was rude.
